Who still remembers Zakari Biu? He was the police commissioner in charge of Kabiru Sokoto's case some months back but was suspended after the boko haram king pin, Kabiru Sokoto escaped from custody.
However, the news is that Zakaru Biu has been dismissed from the Nigerian Police Force by the Police Service Commission. Biu's anticipated dismissal was probably linked to blames received as a result of Kabiru Sokoto's escape.

The decision to dismiss Zakari Biu was taken at the PSC meeting on Wednesday, in Abuja. Prior to his eventual dismissal, Zakari Biu was a Commissioner of Police in charge of criminal investigations at the Zone 7 command, Abuja. He was saddled with Boko Haram investigations by former Inspector General of Police, Hafiz Ringim.
Kabiru Sokoto was the mastermind behind last year's Christmas Bombing at St. Theresa catholic church, Madalla, Niger State where over 40 people were killed.
